Lunar New Year 2025
Red Envelop
The Lunar New Year is around the corner! I was busy preparing the food as well as decorating the house. I shopped for food to worship the altar as usual. I pray for the good health and the success in both career and studying. Usually, it's my mom who clean up the house and prep the food, however, we got a sad news so mom will be staying with Grandma for about two-three months based on her health conditions. I did not complaint or get upset about anything because I knew that we have been through a lot this year. So, I would like this new year to be easy on me!
This year I got the job working with the kids, so I think of giving them some lucky money to wish them luck on everything. Though I spent out a lot this month, still I felt at peace in my heart. I'm happy when seeing they're happy as well. So I started prepping the red envelop for the kids, it was limited due to my budget so I just give the kids in Learning Support and Ms.Fazz's class; they were the most sweetest kids to me. I even give Ms.Wiggins and Mrs. Taylor bigger lucky money than others for wishing to stay healthy and happy. They are two of my favorite teachers, they helped me a lot, Mrs.Taylor always hug me and I needed that hug the most because I've never got a hug from my family members due to the awkwardness we have in one another. However, I always got my hug whenever I see her, she's like my grandma and she's so warm and friendly to me.They were so emotional when I give them the red envelop, I was so happy that they value it. I appreciated them both!
So I gave out the red envelops, my lead teacher, Mr.B was questioning of how generous I was and he said I could have got them a dollar. And I understood what he said, just for luck and we don't need that big value money. However, to me, it was from my heart and I want them to be able to treat themselves a snack or a drink with that $5. And Ms.Fazz's class got $1 red envelop, at least they can have some candy out of that. I prepped these red envelop with my heart and I don't expect any in return. I love to do good things and spread out the kindness to people. The meaning of red envelop is for luck and wish for all the best. SO I spent a quite out of budget but I am happy with that. Therefore, no matter how much I spent this month, they're all for the sincerity of mine and want everyone to feel loved and valued! That was my pre-Lunar New Year. Within a few minutes, I will be literally starting the new year soon. Thus, I will need to adjust my behavior and change to practice new hobbies!
I felt so good after giving them the gists of Lunar New Year! I just want to do something productive and kind of like rewarding the kids and the teachers for being a hard workers throughout the year.
